It is impossible for each of us to be proficient in everything. Sometimes when we go shopping, we hope to find an expert to go with us. However, the life circle is limited, and we may not find such a person every time. Sometimes we have to try it by ourselves. It is also strange that there is too much competition in this society and a lot of fake and shoddy products are mixed. How can we avoid being cheated, such as buying wires and cables, Today, our welding machine and cable company has brought you two very simple and effective methods to distinguish the good from the bad.
The first is to look at the outer coating of wire rod; Semi hard PVC sheath (except for special wires) is generally used for the outer cover of wires with standard temperature resistance of 80 ° C and 105 ° C. the surface is bright and clean, with moderate hardness and toughness, bending resistance (no cracks after 90 ° bending), and the pungent smell of the outer cover is weak; On the contrary, the outer cover of wire rod made of secondary or tertiary materials has dark surface with bubbles, poor toughness, no bending resistance (white micro cracks will appear after 90 ° bending), and strong pungent smell.
The second is to see the color and texture of the conductor copper wire; Standard conductor copper wire generally adopts multi strand bare copper or multi strand tinned copper wire, with bright surface color (bright copper color), good toughness and small conductor resistance (taking 2*0.5 mm2 sheathed wire as an example, the resistance per kilometer is not greater than 39 ohms); On the contrary, the copper-clad aluminum conductor is dark in color, easy to break (it is melted when ignited by a lighter), and it is difficult to distinguish the resistance from the copper conductor. The copper-clad steel conductor is golden yellow in color, with high toughness (it is not easy to burn out when ignited by a fire engine) and high conductor resistance. The copper-clad iron conductor is gray brass in color, with poor toughness, easy to break and high conductor resistance. The conductor of copper coated mud is dark in color, poor in toughness, easy to break (it falls in powder form when ignited by a lighter), and the conductor resistance is unstable.
